Stone wall ferreting in the dales

Down were i live theres no stone walls.But ive all ways fancied ferreting them as ive herd a lot about it.So id like an offer if any one wants to invite me.More so to try one of my dogs at it to add to her skills and to say ive done it as it looks a good crack,So if theres any offers pm me please and well sort it out after crimbo :D:D:D

good luck with the offers but i would rather there wasnt stone walls were i am. if you get a dig under there it can be a big job to get your stinker back. i have had to dismantly the end of a wall once and luckly for me it was already colapsed other wise i would have had the hard word from the farmer..

There is a lot of differences in stone walls in the dales :thumbs: some are literally stone on stone,that you can see through and the wind blows straight through them,rabbits will go through or over them. Then there is the double sided walls very substantial with an inner cavity usally with smaler stones in the middle of them :thumbs: these are the ones that rabbits can and do live in that you would want for your visit
