jultaylor1972 2
Over the last few weeks I’ve been following advice from MOLLY to help me with my unruly terrier and since she has improved vastly I thought I’d take her for a walk and a mooch about whilst I checked out some new permission got for me by GIN. This was her first time on rabbit infested land and to be honest I didn’t know whether she’s be interested or not – but following advice to get her out mooching off we went. We met up with GIN who said she’ll be ok off the lead, to my surprise about 200 metres into the first field she disappeared into some thick gorse and caught and killed her first rabbit! We were out for just under two hours and she continued to mark holes and follow scents, to say I’m thrilled is an understatement, this terrier has caused me so much trouble for a good while now and I was at the point of almost giving up on her, but thanks to MOLLY and her advice I’ve managed to turn her around and it’s actually a pleasure to spend time with her now. So a big thanks to both GIN and MOLLY for a day I won’t forget for a long time!
Gin 503
It was a real good and interesting few hours out JT. Once the terrier got her first rabbit,- something just seemed to "kick in" in her brain, and it was like she had been at it for years. I'm very pleased to have been able to help,- and Molly is one of the best for advice. She's a canny bugger.
