can any body tell me how long it takes before you were out a barrel and is it true 22.250 weres them out quicker than the likes of 223 ect

Firstly id say that barrel life depends on how you care for the barrel. IS the barrel cleaned properly after each session? is it cleaned using solvents that arnt overly aggressive, do you leave your rifle stored with the moderator on? What kind of accuracy do you accept from your rifle? etc

The questions go on, at the end if you look after your barrel, it will look after you!

the answer to the question is yes a 22/250 barrel wont last as long as a 223 barrel. but a 22/250 barrel will last 1000's of rounds and even when they do drop off on accuracy it will still be more then enough for foxing. to be fair anything that still groups 1 inch is good going.

there is lots going aaround about shooting out 22/250 barrels but i would say there isnt many people that have shot there's out. inless your doing a hell of a lot of shooting. or some guy form the usa that is shooting out in the varmint fields where there barrels get silly hot.

keep the rifle cleaned right. dont fire off lots and lots of shots with it. proper cooling down time. and they will last you for a very long time
