Hello what material can I use to prevent my dog from scratching the inside of his kennel door. Or something that if he does scratch it wont damage the door.

you could tack some galvanised mesh to the door,stopped mine quick enough but don't leave any loose edges obviously

Try walking him more.

He is walked with out fail every day come rain or shine three times each day. And the walks are several miles too.

 

It maybe that he spends too much time inside with me, and not enough time in his kennel.

Try leaving him with a bone or hide chew when he's alone in his kennel....this should distract him from the scratching and give him something else to focus on rather than being with you.

dont worry mate plenty of wise arses on here,mine get walked and worked plenty didnt stop them scratching the f*****g door sometimes though

cut flat metal galvanised sheeting to size and screw into inside of kennel doors

cut a piece of plastic the same size,the kind they sell in b an q for shed windows,he can scratch all he wants then
