even on places i have written permission on i like to not be seen by walkers and the like. atb .

 

Oh, know what you mean mate. One of my permissions is surrounded by public land all around- there's sports fields on two sides, and a public park/lake on another (but there's a bank about 7ft tall surrounding most of it). There's a fence that runs through the middle, and I found that if I stand at the gate, and keep still, basically the entire property is in range, and I can shoot the bunnies as they appear in all directions. More than once I've had a chap standing at the top of the bank watching me intently. Even though I'm doing absolutely nothing wrong, it makes you incredibly uncomfortable!!

yep got a public footpath next to one of mine! as it happens i tend to pick a cocealed spot and do the waitin game but if theres publc using the foot path i wait untill they are gone. not that i am doing any thing wrong but it only takes one winge to the owner who wants a quiet life ( and one of my lines when creepin for permission is "silencer you wont even know im there") and your gone.

I've been lucky with my permissions as I have people in and out of the cemetery while I'm shooting during the day and even had one the other night after dark.

 

Of course there are people walking around that area as its surrounded by roads

Not had the ARV out yet, but a van, a car and the Helicopter twice when I first started on the cemetery and the paddock.

 

Andy I'd certainly drop the power closer to 11 or 11.5 if you really want to push it.

never fear mate shes now settled at 11.52.

 

if your having problems sleeping i no a few women that will happerly talk you to sleep,or maybe even death.lol.

 

in regards to people on permission iv never had any problems really,bin lucky i quess.

 

my permission in derbyshire is full of people all day with dogs kids teens moto bikes you name it, but even then most of them will happerly walk up, just to see what gun you have. pluss i lived there nearly all my life,so no most people that walk there.

where i shot in notts with carl iv never seen another sole. in fact makes you think wouldent want to break an leg or owt when there on my own. even with the mobile it would take ages to be found.
