how to make a rabbit skin nice for a dog dummie

well a went out ferreting at a qurry and got a cuple of rabbits and i was wondering how do ppl make ther rabbit skin good to rap around the dummie to train my wee terrier ??

Staple them to a piece of board, rub in half a pack of household salt into the non fur side, leave it a couple of days, if its still wet, put the other half of the pack on, it should be dry in a week, then just shake off the salt

I did the same as above but put mine in the airing cupboard, After a week it was rock hard so I gave it a soak and a scrub to soften it up, Its still going strong after about 18 months

I poured salt on the inside, wrapped it around a tennis ball that has a rope handle and sewn it up tightly around the ball. I left it in the airing cupboard for 3 days and it was done.I connect the rope handle to a wire and long handle device I made and it works great.
