vets are good in alot of ways but if the dog as put its back out then the vet might not be the best person to put it right, if the vet says its out i would take it to someone who specalizes in doing dogs backs it can save you money in the long run and get your dog back to health alot faster. there are alot of places about that do horses and dogs.

been to vets and its a poss slipd disc, kennel rest and anti inflammatories for a week and see how we progress.Cheersss for the replies lads.

i really would suggest the grayhound vet mate..

he will bend, twist the whole dog.a friend took his, within minutes,he said she acted like she was was a few years younger..

can also ask welsh hound what his experience with the greyhound vet was like. i know some good lurcher lads that swear by them and i know where my terrier will be going when need be.

I would do both. Finish the meds to get the inflammation down then take them to either a chiropracter / dog man for manipulation incase the muscles and ligaments haven't gone back into alignment. Be careful who you choose and go on recommendation as there's some out there who are very heavy handed and can cause your dog a lot of pain.
