keeping dog fit

i have a lurcher a was wondering if anyone uses tred mills to keep there dogs fit when they cant get out to walk them.also can some give the names of parts i will need to make a greyhound lure with step by step quidance.also how much am i looking to pay for a greyhound lure brand new and has anyone got one for sale.

i just used a pushbike and kept the dog at a fast walk.. no running.

if you do a search for a lure on the net theres a few plans you can find, they are well expensive to buy new if you can find one.

theres a thread on hear somewhere how to make a lure rew it was not long ago either..dont do tread mills myself i always take them out no matter what..when iam feeling like a lazy tw*T.i take em dowon this country lane near where i live... let them out for a shite and that...abit of a sniff about.and drive back with them trotting at the back of the motor for about a mile and ahalf ..nice and steady tho 10 or 15 mph...and put my foot down for the last 2 or 3 hundred yards and shout them out of my window...they love it but i must admit the terrier loves it more than me lurcher..some people might not agree with my bit of road work but everybody to there own ....it works for me and my hunting partners...thats me dogs mate... good luck and i hope this has helped in someway and all the best pal..
