I have two full europeans, really wouldnt fancy working them, they seem to have an attitude of there own!!!! ive breed many ferrets and never come across the temprement that euros have, will be breeding them next year, as they sell like hot cakes, really wouldnt buy one if your not an experienced handler tho.

OK so your going to breed them next year? I take it from your comment you dont work them? So why would you only reccomend them to experienced handlers?

ive found that there temprement are totally different to a domestic ferret, they seem to have a wilder side to them

So basically you dont/cant work them? Not suitable as pets for inexperienced owners So who exactly buy these hot cakes?

i got one during the summer, and have had her out a few times, she took to running holes like a duck to water, is a little hand shy but i expect that will come out of her with some more working and handling. ive noticed she has a totally different working style (alot more agressive with a rabbit) than the ferrets.

i think its a matter of getting them hand tamed and just being carefull which warrens you enter them in. owh and getting a decent spade :whistling:
