ferreting a road side

good going, i would have been nervous having a dog loose near the road, was it a busy road?

 

I have had interesting conversations with passer's by when ferreting at the side of a road, i have also sold a few rabbits that way

Same here compo,i ferret the bank next to a busy road,and have often had people pull up to ask to buy a rabbit or two,or people who are interested in what i am doing.I even had two paramedics pull up one morning they had stopped for a tea break asked what i was up to (hiding in the hedge bottom) i said ferreting,and they stayed a good 15 mins watching they was very interested asking all sorts of questions about the ferrets,nets ETC,they even gave me a cup of tea out of their flask.I had one bloke walking his dog came up to me and shouted what are you up to,i thought here we go hes going to call me names or something,when suddenly he said i am a green keeper for a bowls club could you sort the rabbits out for me they are digging up my greens BONUS that was many moons ago they have built houses on it now.

 

I have also met a few people who did not agree with what i was doing :censored:which i told them nicely to go away :whistle:

last one who didn't agree said why kill those rabbits you can buy rabbits at the butchers in town, i pointed out that i sold most of my rabbits to them , where did she think they come from anyway she shut up and fecked off then
