webley an scott

Recommended Posts

Im looking at a new semi-auto too as like you say my Escort was rubbish!!

I dont know about the Webley but I'm looking at the Beretta E100 it works on recoil not gas take off. Beretta own Benelli who specialise in the recoil reload type, only they are all well over a grand!

The recoil system means the action doesnt get filled up with sh*te and makes it easier to clean and its suppossed to be really reliable.

The Beretta is going for around £700 new and sportsmansguncentre are seling them too.

£700 for a recoil loader by Beretta seems like a bargain to me, thats why I have just ordered one!!

A few weeks ago i was looking to buy my first semi auto and i was interested in a Webley & Scott. That was until a bloke at work told me that he had nothing but problems with his one

So i ended up buying a brand new Winchester SX3 Composite chambered for 3 1/2''

The gun has performed faultlessly and came with a 5 year warranty.

Oh , and buy the way , the bloke at work got his money back on the webley and bought a brand new HATSAN ESCORT & no problems to date ,

Had my webley 800s s/a for about three years, probably fired over 3000 rounds through it-no problems at all :notworthy. came with interchangeable chokes & proofed for magnum loads and steel shot. Ideal all round gun, at a good price

Just my opinion of course :whistling:
