Guest The Big Fish
Well the 'usual update your pc bullshit automaticly done its thing, being the ever trusting fellow that i am, i agreed to let it proceed and update internet explorer to the latest incarnation. Why the feck did i bother? Everything is now different and i hate change!
Guest Ditch_Shitter
Fisher; It won't let me have 7, because I'm a bad b*stard. But I got hit with those updates last night / early hours. Was dragging the damn mouse around like a garden shed! Still am, come to that! F*cking Restarting and god knows what. I want to get Lynux and be shot of all this Blair of the Air nannying by msn. But I recently seem to have seen that Lynux needs msn as a base?! Also, there may be a question regards what sort of modem? I don't know. I'm out of touch with the expert who was encouraging me to go with it. Maybe, once I've sorted this bugger so it works better again, I'll go for a good, concerted delve into Lynux? Or maybe I'll just buy the OS from PC World? I know it's all meant to be free and down loadable. I'm just thinking off the idea that, if ye can buy it in PC World, it must be idiot proof. See what I mean? No awkward desicions or sudden realisations that ye need fancy equipment. Something just any doughnut off the street can buy. Take home. Slip in and fire up. Like an msn disc. Anyway ...... Guest The Big Fish
Ditch, i was always under the impression that lynux was a server based operating system, probably much the same as this website is hosted on. Didnt realise that it could be used as an os for a home pc Do you rekon there is a rabbit in there? Edited December 14, 2006 by The Big Fish
Crow 1
Fish, stick with IE7, you WILL like it after you've got used to it. I hated it at first too but now I find it much better to use than the earlier versions. You could try Firefox as an internet browser (google it), thats quite good although it works in a slightly different way to IE. Its also supposed to be more secure. Guest The Big Fish
Hi there Crow, i used to use firefox at one time and found it realy good, it appeared to load pages much faster that IE. But after a while something happened to it and it wouldnt load anything at all, so i just deleted and moved on. I am sure that eventually i will get used to the new IE 7, but i like to have a fecking good bellyache about it first :11: It seems like they have moved the positions of all the buttons and controls, just because they could, without realy thinking if they should. Paid 935
They seem to have copyed firefox a bit with ie7, what with the tabs and lay out.

Just out of interest - have you found the utility that will identify all the ISP and IP details of all those viewing the same page as you? Very handy if you are on the look out for 'dodgy' people as they no longer have anywhere to hide Anyway, Mr IP 255.10.10.67 have fun with IE7, and remember that Big Crow is watching you
Guest Feygan
Personally I can't stand internet explorer, I've not used it for at least five years now, I came across Opera years back and havent changed it since, It's smaller in hard drive space, faster at loading, uses less pc power, intergrates most things I'd ever want, and allows me to customise the layout far better than IE ever has done. Oh and the other part of it not needed to be constantly updated every couple of weeks due to some new security flaw like IE also tends to help. Incase anyone is curious take a look. Yea i noticed that little gem, i wonder why they included that, seems a bit dodgy to me
