the S&Bs a great scope, im saving my pocket money for one just now, however aska bout the hungarian 8x56 - its exactly the same components as the german one the only diffrence is its assembled in hungary, and its about 200 quid cheaper ;)

what rifle you putting the s/b on? i know it is a good glass just not sure about ranges.

agree with above mate, i have this scope in 25mm tube and to be honest having looked through both i dont see the

advantage in the 30mm tube, its just extra cost. this mag is easily enough to shot fox sized targets out to 300yds

( and more in daylight ) get one mate you wont be disappointed

Yes the S&B is a very good scope.

I have a Leupold VX3 6,5>20x50 30mm Tube, Varmint Ret on mine (Ruger No1).

It's only my opinion/choice but my Varmint Ret is really top notch, it's fine, easy to see (even at night under the lamp)

and you have the advantage of the the 'ladder' Reticule up-ness and down-ness to play with.

Not that you need much with a 100 yard zero'd 22.250.

Best of luck!
