dog broke bone in neck

Recommended Posts

The bone man we use is a greyhound man, when asked about the atlas bone breaking he said if a piece has come of the side either left or right, its best not to feel around or move it just let it fuse together where it is.

if its a chip on the top of the bone due to the dogs head being forced down towards his chest thats the one that takes alot of time to heal, you could be lucky and the dog get all movment back or it could hinder the dog the rest of its life, on a good note a 2yr old dog has got a better chance of healing.

hope this helps............steve
