Just seen this ad in my new monthly issue of the national gamekeepers organisation might be some good to you rabbiters in the linconshire area looking to sell a few rabbits this season this is exactly how the advert reads

RABBITS REQUIRED dear editor one side of our buisness which is rapidly growing is buying wild rabbits for processing for human and pet consimption we are finding difficulty in getting reliable supplies hear in lincolnshire this is partly because so much of the land is under crops for much of the year when people cannot get on the land or see to shoot the rabbits because of the crops many parts of the country eg the downs should be more suitable but ther i have a problem in finding possible suppliers rabbits are not just pest to us they are worth paying for we are prepared to travel to collect we do not want shot gunned rabbits single shot netted etc are what we need might any of your members be able to help

TO FAR FROM ME IM AFRAID BUT I DO KNOW THAT THE GAME SHOP NEAR TO ME OPENS ON THE 4TH OF SEPT AND PAYS £1.35p PER FERRETED RABBIT HOPE THIS MAY BE OF SOME USE TO YOU LINCONSHIRE RABBITERS LOOKING TO SELL ANY EXCESS RABBITS FERRETED OR LAMPED WITH THE RIFLE

cheers buddy, might be worth looking into if he pays a fair price and isn't taking the piss with what he offers. Dunno if the numbers ill be getting (last season was very poor, hopefully better this season) are worth it for him but certainly keep him in mind for the future.
