advise wanted please.

hi im thinking about getting a gundog of some sourt as my border terrier and lab are getting to old now. i was thinking about a cocker but dint realy no. it would be used for bushing game owt to the lurcher and gun`s. and retrieving. i dont realy wont any thing so big, all advise welcome. atb andy

sorry pal but it wouldnt be for a while yet as i am waiting to get my keys to my new house and need to get kennels made.

if your wanting something to just go haywire and but stuff up then ye a cockers fine but a lab will do the same job just wont be as manik as a cocker.

thanks for the advise mate, but iv already got a lab and found it was a bit to big for some of my permision ie couldnt get throught the tight stuff.

My little Lab bitch is barely 21", athletic and very keen, she can get where my terriers can get rabbit runs through brambles the lot.
