Guys,

 

things are happening so fast now, I can barely keep up.

I have a question:

 

Would you guys like this idea, you pay a once off fee.

You pay your return ticket, sort your medical & insurance.

Then... when you land at Jhb international airport I will be waiting,

I will take you to the game farm, your licenses, accom, everything and I mean everything is paid for, taken care of etc. My brother will cater so no need for the ladies to raise a finger. We stay 4 nights at the game farm then move on to bloemhof dam for some fishing. Again, you dont move a finger or take out another penny. Everything again is arranged and paid for from your once off fee. All meals, accom, fishing equipment, bait, etc is again provided. We stay there for 2 nights then I take you back to Jhb International so see you off after a great week of hunting, fishing and relaxing in the south african bushveld.

 

I am still getting prices, but it seems to be pretty affordable. Cheap actually.

... and NO!! this is not a money making scheme. From researching the past 2 days I have realized that doing things in advance, going bulk and good planning wil save some time and money.

 

My brother stayed in the UK in 2003 for just over 2 years, so his input have been very valueable.

Just an interesting fact that I found out while phoning around.

 

To hunt pigeons, guinea fowl, fesants, rabbits & meerkat there is no season. With a valid hunting license you can hunt it the whole year round. The same goes for the fishing.

OK, I am almost to scared to make this post. I can not guarantee that this price wont change. I still need to do some research. This is a very rough estimate on what I already checked:

 

1-2 people = 1200 pounds ea

3-4 people = 950 pounds ea

 

 

This means from where I collect you at the airport until I drop you again you dont take out a single penny. Only your spending money will be extra.

 

You sort out your return ticket, insurance & medical before you land in SA.

 

I need feedback. This price will be for the following:

 

Collect you from Jhb international airport.

4 nights accommodation at the game farm.

Hunting license per hunter included.

Targets for zeroing, etc.

All breakfasts catered.

Snacks on the hunt.

Snacks when we get back between 11am - 2pm.

Supper catered.

Game drive.

The game farm will clean all kills & keep in cold storage.

The game farm will transport us to and from the hides.

All beveredges & soft drinks (wine for ladies & whatever the boys drink).

Transport from the game farm to bloemhof dam

Fishing license per angler included.

2 nights accommodation.

All breakfasts catered.

Afternoon snacks.

Supper catered.

All beveredges & soft drinks (wine for ladies & whatever the boys drink).

Game drive.

All fishing equipment & baits, etc supplied.

Transport back to Jhb international airport.

All toiletries included. You ONLY bring your toothbrush & your clothes.

 

On the game farm, this price includes the following per hunter:

 

10 guinea fowl

10 fesants

10 rabbits

unlimitid pigeons

unlimited meerkat & dassie

unlimited jackal (only with my 60fpe .20 rifle)

 

On request, at NO extra charge we can also do night hunting from the hides.

 

Only additional cost is if there is a request for a medic to go with. That will be 350 pounds extra for the week. Your safety & well being comes first with me.

 

I still need to check the red tape on bringing in a rifle. As I said in another post, bring only 1 rifle, it makes it much easier. If you dont bring any rifles, thats fine too. I have 4 available.

 

Like I said, I need your feedback to know whether I should add more luxuries or cut it more basic. With the above price, you will be very comfortable. Still roughing it with a hot shower and a nice bed at night. As stated, meals are catered so you will be eating like kings. Any meal can be prepared, hoping to do alot of african dishes for you guys'n'gals.

 

Ok, lets start shaving on this package.

Well and truely out of my league at the moment but not to say they won't be in the future.

 

Dont worry about the lack of response yet though Roger; the board seems to have been a bit slow over the last few days, guess people are getting out in the breaks in the crappy weather we've been experiancing this last couple of weeks.

Spiders... Unfortunately yes, but nothing to worry about. Where we sleep its clean and my wife sprays everywhere when we get there. No bug stands a chance

 

I can definetely take the fishing out. Its totally optional. How many days would you be interested in and what do you have in mind. I will recalc it for you.

how will we pay for it ? are you going to set up a pay pal account otherwise I will not be paying!no disrespect roger, I need to know when i part with my hard earnt cash that there is some sort of insurance.please! don't take it the wrong way buddy.

Hi,

 

I hear you davy. No problem. I can setup a Pay Pal account in 10min. But before we get to the payment, let me finish all my paperwork this side, so I can supply a complete quote with all the info.

 

I would however need to book about 6-8 weeks in advance. So yes, once I got it all done, we can discuss payment, etc.

 

Trapping, not really. But hunting is the name of the game at Malta Ranch. We can sit in the hides in the morning. There are 3 hides. We can sit at the feed trenches in the afternoon. We can do walk'n'stalk. Very difficult. And in the evening we can sit in the hides for jackal, caracal & rabbit.

 

We can mix it any way we want. We just need to let Jannie from the farm know every evening what our plans are for the next day.

 

Keep the comments and questions coming guys, thats the only way I can get this done properly for you guys.
