im only asking as i have seen some pups without there tails docked. just wondering how long there tails would get.

they end up bent over so they touch the front shoulder blades each to ther own but you couldent pay me to keep a terrier with a long tail a.t.b brog

A friend had a black lakeland without being docked, he wasn't bad to look at and he worked fine. He was the first and only I'd seen. My friend always said it left him more to grab onto, and it was, seen it more than a few times. I've got a dog and his was docked short, I'd rather it wouldnt' have been docked than short.

The length and shape of the tail may be other in different lines, there is no general rule. There are quite some Parson Russell terriers undocked, maybe checking their pohotos may help you.

i dont mind if a terrier (preferably a Patterdale) has a docked tail or not :glare: , my current dog has a full tail and i find it better for pulling her out on digs :db:

i have terriers with tails (not all of them)

they look better without them but i havent

had a problem with them as far as work is

concerned and if they do start causing problems

i'll have them removed.
