Fishing in the rain

Dads got some time off this week so we planned to do a 24 hour session on white springs fishery in swansea monday into tuesday then alton towers on wednesday and another 24 hour session from thursday into friday and the weather for monday and tuesday aint looking too smart at the moment i personally hate fishing in the rain because it makes most things harder and makes using pva bags almost impossible so do i stay and hope the weather improves for thursday or do i go?

 

Plus theres a nash baits convension on the fishery saturday/sunday and there will be so much bait going into the water i doubt the fish will be upto much for a few days.

get on it fanny..im off tomorrow for 3 days with the wife on shitty carp ..if i find out the lake hold eel or pike,the taktics WILL change..PVA wont matter if you have a brolly over yer nut will it??

 

i too dont feel confident in rain but know when the rain stops,i usually get the run

i usually remove my hook link,fit the new mesh,replace bait whatever and reattach hook link under cover,bivvie, don't seem to get any probs,maybe im just getting it out quicker than you,most of my mates do the same to be fair

Yeah thats what i'll have to do maybe take the hook link off and use a baiting needle to put the bag over the hooklength and rest it on the hook instead of just hooking the tip of the bag what about the bait convension? thers going to be alot of disturbance about the lake all weekend would it be worth resting were i choose to fish for the first morning and only put lines in at about 2 in the afternoon? but putting boilies and pellets down in the morning when i first get there

any activity like that convention would be enough for me to not go in the first place to be honest,unless it was a very large water and i could tuck in a swim well away from it all then maybe,dont know what a bait convention consists of but surely they dont just throw kilos of the stuff in for the sake of it

Go anyway man,its only 24hrs. Might want to take some nash bait with you tho. Ive had a few on the scopex squid and robin red. F`ing stinks tho. Tight lines .
