Twenty five quid, for a hard backed book which ~ knowing Phil ~ is probably rich with photo's too? Jesus, man; Where have you been living?

Try Stuart Haddon - Riddoch's new one; Enlarged and revised copy of " Rural Reflections ". Stuart's a good mate of mine too. I got the inside track there. Photo's push up book prices exponentially! Stu's new one's Forty quid!!! :icon_eek: Not That many photo's either. And they Have to be black and white, or else it just gets f*cking ridiculous.

I'm personally working on a book myself right now. Very specialised and Very photograph based. Sorry 'n all that; But this sukka's probably gonna cost ye most of a weeks wages!!!

Please don't ever run away with the idea that a man can just type some words up, magickly get it all into a book and then name his own price, getting to keep every penny. Some Publishers want 75% + !!!!! And even the Printer will bitch like hell if ye want more than half a dozen photo's :(

No. Lloydy won't exactly be bathing in Shiraz, mate; Wether ye shell out or not. Which I will be, at the end of the month! :good:

Same old story, its tooooooo expensive.

Fecks sake, do you realise just how much it costs to get a book printed out? And this feckers a biggen, 269 pages.

Mr Lloyd has, at the very least got to cover the costs and hopefully make a little profit for the extensive time and hassle of the project.

The write up in the countrymans weekly spoke very highly of this read, i for one will ave a copy please :victory:
