Sickening picture which shocked Southport fishing community

Never met his brother but ive met gord a few times and hes always been sound , ive heard stories of strokes hes supposed to have pulled (tell me a piker who hasnt) a lot of which i think is jealousy based and comes from another fairly well known piker in that area , hes a snake and i dont believe half the fish he says hes caught after seeing him on one of my local waters .

 

 

Lol, they where both as bad as each other pal... If your talking about "MALC".. I have fished with both, and i was with the latter on 2 occasions when he banked good 30'S....Yet i never saw him pull a trick or lie about a fish, like i saw others do pal!! In saying that, i was fishing on Lomond with him 20 odd yrs ago, and i can honestly say, his ability on that place is second to none....

 

The real deal from that era and area was "john watson"....!!!!!

It is who im talking about and i know hes had a few 30s and from some hard waters aswell but he turned up on one of my local waters and set up about 3 pegs up from me and a mate and packed up before us, he didnt catch anything and a couple of days later i was talking to one of his mates who told me that malcolm had had a 20+ on the day we were on. Im not really bothered what he has or hasnt caught though ,i have other reasons why i havent got any time for him. I did smile though when he tried to use his name to get in a syndicate with a long waiting list and was told to go away.

 

 

We all use our names to get places.... And as for the water near you, do you mean the water with the canal linking the other water???

 

And do you know that pike have feeding times mate, and if you learn them you can fish up to four different waters in a day... only fishing the vitual hour needed to bank the fish. So it doesnt matter if he came after you or your mates, and left before, he may have been fishing the feeding times, and not sitting it out...Dont think i am sticking up for him, as he a very very boring man, and i actually changed my number on my mobile because of him! One thing is for sure mate, he doesnt lie about the size or the fish he has caught...And also becareful what you say, as they are always going on about slander.. Like nig williams, i darent say what went on there but he isnt a very nice man. He did get filled in for his actions, but then took the guy in question to court for slander, even tho all involved knew it was true.....

Its not that water although part of the reason i dont like him happened on that one(thats the water he had a carp on a mackeral). I know about feeding times , i used to switch venues myself . A 20 did come out to my mate that day so maybe malcolms mate got the wrong end of the stick when he told him about it,who knows, like i said i dont really care what hes caught i just dont like the man . Ive give up fishing this year so unless i take it up again hopefully i wont be bumping in to him again.

thats not on, killing and then leaving it on display! thats a good size fish too so who ever it is is going to get some big trouble by the locals, and they deserve it.
