Adam16 1
Well it's been around five weeks since the paper work went in, got the call yesterday to ask if the FLO could come round today. So he turned up bang on time, we had an informal chat he filled out a few forms, a quick look at the safe and that was that, he says there isn't any reason, that he can see, for me not to be granted all of what I asked for perhaps with a 12month condition on the centre fire for my dad to mentor me, but the .22 fac air, .22rf and .17 all with mods shouldn't be a problem and the shotguns would be fine as well. My certs should arrive early to mid september! I'm well pleased can't wait to start spending my money! Adam Quote Link to post
SNAP SHOT 194
nice one... just remember what they are capable of doing, safe backstops and you should have trouble free shooting... good luck to you, hope you enjoy the coming season. Snap. Quote Link to post
stevie_87 2
good luck adam. ive just received my section 1 for a .22 and .22-250. was nervous waiting on it to pop through the letter box but eventually it did and ive started off slow just with the .22 as i'm going to get plenty practice in before i take on the larger rifle for fox and roe deer. as i didn't have to have a mentor so i want to make sure i'm confident and capable so not to injure anything. all the best stevie Quote Link to post
Adam16 1
Thanks Snap, good advice there, I've got a bit to learn about big guns as it were compared to my air rifles but I'm always sure to make all shots safe. I can't wait to start a new chapter in my shooting career. Adam Quote Link to post
