shotgunny 39
Hi mate This is my first time going knocking and I'm only 15 so I am quiet nervous . I have all my paperwork in line license, insurance etc. Will a pair of jeans and a shirt be okay? I will give them references to other nearby land owners which I have permission from. Hopefully I will have some success . Atb sg

SNAP SHOT 194
just be polite, respect what he has to say, if yes say thank you, And of you go.... plus it doesn't hurt to ask if he would eat the odd bit of whatever you kill for the pot, If he says No say thank for your time anyway... And walk off, i had a farmer say NO once to see my reaction, and as i was getting into the jeep he said oi... because i was calm and said thanks anyway, he took a change of heart, most of my permissions now Ask for me to take care of things, Word of mouth travels for the good as well as the bad news... Good luck. Snap.

Ideation 8,217
The best line is - i do x on a, b, c and d's farm. I was wondering if you needed x taken care of. But only if it's true. If not just be polite and straight up - and farmers don't like people being too friendly or their 'mate' - just a tip.

One thing - i wouldn''t say removed, just controlled or something. sg
SNAP SHOT 194
just tell them you will be using a shotgun, and that you are insured should any accidental damage occur... and that you would be looking for permission to shoot vermin on the land in question, And please and thanks you will help you lots... ATB... Snap.
