hi anyone with experience of useing mk3 do they still bleep like the mk1 any advice welcome

I have one, have been using it all season and so far very good and reliable.

You can always turn the volume down or off, still locate your ferret with just the lights.

I really rate mine and I always use it with the volume off,(it still bleeps then when you're really close) I've used it a few times recently where the ferrets had rabbits stopped up and I've found it dead accurste. Well worth it I think. Only thing that bugs me is it doesnt have a case or a clip to secure it . I have it in a pocket but I find it a pain to keep getting in and out and if i dont shut the pocket properly it falls out when I lean over setting nets and stuff. Has anyone come up with any solutions.

seems a lot of people are having problems with them

giving false depth readings
