Guest stewie Posted July 19, 2010 Report Share Posted July 19, 2010 (edited) well ive being trying to get one of these birds on film for well over a year now but had no luck at all!!! ive seen it/them loads of times but everytime they are either to far to get on camera or i havent got it on me :wallbash: well this afternoon after work i took the dogs for a walk and a swim down the river trent and sat down on the river bank just watching the dogs in the water and enjoying the peace and quiet in the middle of nowhere all on my own when a flash of white flew right over my head and there it was the big white bird id been after for so long!!! i know they are pretty common in some parts of the uk but they are really rare round my way and im over the moon to get this footage ps its not the egret making that noise its a seagull fecking about over the dogs i think it must of had a nest or young about??
