andyfr1968 772
Hi, mate. You'll need a licence for any type of gun where you are, Hunter. Not really a good idea to ask for loop holes on a public forum, mate, don't know who's watching.... Give us an idea as to how much you want to spend, then maybe someone can help. Cheers. matt_hooks 188
Are you NI or Eire? In NI all air rifles are on ticket, with no exceptions. Give us an idea of your budget and we can recommend a few options! Quote Link to post

matt_hooks 188
In Eire, it's illegal to use airguns for hunting! Air Rifles Firearms certificates for air rifles are granted by the Superintendent of your local police district. These weapons are dangerous and can only be used for target practice purposes; they can never be used to shoot small animals, birds or protected species of wildlife. You will be required to complete an application form in the presence of the Garda on duty who will forward your application to the Superintendent and make recommendations on your application. The Superintendent will grant or refuse your application. Eire firearms info Quote Link to post
