slight mishap

Hello can anyone tell me whether a 2x 200mg ibuprofen tablets would do any damage to my dog he is 13 weeks old, and he actually ate the tablets as the were left for my headache and then they disapeared, he went hyper for about 5 hours and is back to himself, my vet said if he is eating and himself then he is fine, just need re-assurance. I understand a lot of you think its a silly mistake, but you dont believe how upset i am.

what size is the dog ????? i would watch its eating habits and keep a close eye on the other end !!!! any change get back to your vet A.T.B. oggy

leave plenty of water for him mate and feed as normal. he should be ok but any change get him straight back to the vet.

He is a gsp pup, I had a banging headache when I came home from work and put two tablets on a table while i went to get a glass of water and then when I turned around they wernt there! I feel like such a muppet, He was hyper for a few hours, just running a lot more than normal, but he seems fine, I shouldnt do any long term damage?

Your dog is way below the concentration that is considered an overdose so you should not expect any short- or longterm damage.
