Malt 379
Growing toms for the first time this year, they'e coming on nice now! I've got them outside in some cheap Wilkinson growhouses. Gardeners delight: I had this plant inside the old flat as it was a spare. I topped it after the first truss had formed to see what happened. F1 Sweet Million: A few hundred green tomatoes on these plants, and a few hundred more flowers yet to set! A few more gardeners delight: I might end up sick of cherry tomatoes by the end of the growing season, might make some chutney when I've got a good crop ready. Malt 379
It's to do with our climate. Our crops always come earlier down this way.

littlefish 602
looking good! I have those greenhouses as well - they are handy. I am growing 'tumbling tom' cherry tomatoes this year again. They were a bit slow to start but coming on now. Last year I was still eating them in late October!
