theres was one at Nobottle, on the Althorpe Estate, iused to ferret there in the 70s,i think its still going,

It appears to be disused. Do you know whether that was an MoD range or a private one? Do you know who owns it at present?

Lord Spencer, idont know anything else mate ,except there was allways lots of military there,Rolfe ,off of this site may know a bit more,as i think he lives in the area

Have a look at this list as it may well be very usefull, most MOD ranges will now be used by only 1 or 2 civilian rifle clubs, its not possible/very difficult to get private access to mod ranges for personal shooting even if your serving or ex-forces.
