cheers...he has been gone a few days, and is the second one to have been lost. not suggesting stolen but seems a bit of a coincidence with him being the second...

is it a working dog?could it have gone to ground?how long has it been missing?anyone checked around all the known earths in the area?I would say get a decent dog to check all the known drains,earths,etc if its off working gear,I'll come over and help if your stuck,atb,wirralman

cheers Wirral Countryman! its been gone a bit longer than they let on initially. Told about it when a mate called to ask about permission. it is a stables dog and so used to mooching around after rats and rabbits. a month or so now..... they arent aware of any details other than it vanished one day and not seen again. they are neighbours to the local gamekeeper and have told him, they have checked any likely holes etc but still no trace. they have checked the local shelters etc with no joy.

they are thinking along the same lines of gone to ground and got stuck [dead by now if that is the case]...or stolen, so this is really just in case anyone recognises the picture in the future....!!

 

i think the owners will appreciate peoples offers to keep an eye out!!

Sad to see it's gone missing, but on another note i would NEVER give my dog's name on a missing poster. If someone has stolen it and they see the poster then they have it's name too.

Hope it turns up soon.

cheer's toka,its probably been stolen,I've had this a couple of times in this area,each time after spending day's checking holes and drains,etc I've found out later they were stolen,it took 3yrs on one dog but I found out who took it,people take them in car's and they're gone in a flash,if the keeper your talking about is sam bell then he would of had a good look about for it  and knows all the local earths etc,pass on my best wishes and I hope the dog is returned safe and well soon,atb,wirralman

thanks WC....yes it is Sam, i havent spoken to him in a while but i may be doing soon as this new permission is one of his neighbours. i will call and see him and say hello!!
