i have a russell pup that will be six months next week ,she stands eleven and a half to shoulder , to me and what i am used to she is a small pup for her age what height do you think she will makeand what age do they stop growing heightwise, i cant remember

it depends on what size the sire and dam where if you find that out you will have a good idea it will be some where inbetween them ...see if you can get some pics up of the pup....good luck with your new dog... :thumbs-up:

sire 14 ,,dam 12 and half but i cant see her making 13 my mate who had a bitch and dog out of litter says his are bigger .

Shes 5 months old and 11.5", she may well make 13"

A russell can stop growing anytime between four months and a year, but generally grow a bit in height until at least 9 months, and then they will fill out. I agree that 13 inches is likely and over 12 almost assured.
