deeley24 72 Posted June 16, 2010 Report Share Posted June 16, 2010 alright lads i just brought i falcon praire bm carbine with a set of hawke eclipse scopes, I took it out to the farm yesterday with my grandad to sight up. we set a target up at 30 yrds then started (when we put the scope on we wound the both th the center). the fist 3 shots way out to the left so few clicks.anyway i got within bout 5 inch of the target both from ajusting windage and elevation. by this time i had wound them both to the max up and left andf it was still away off. we even took off the scope wound them both back and tryed agian and it did the same we tryed at 15 yards and still wound up all the way and was hitting the bottom of the target, any help would be much appritiated thanck reece Quote Link to post
stubby 175 Posted June 16, 2010 Report Share Posted June 16, 2010 you can add a shim to the rear of sight or front to help with elevation, but your left and right, it sounds like the mounts are at fault, rather than the sight, re check those first, Quote Link to post
deeley24 72 Posted June 16, 2010 Author Report Share Posted June 16, 2010 you can add a shim to the rear of sight or front to help with elevation, but your left and right, it sounds like the mounts are at fault, rather than the sight, re check those first, thanks mate did try that and changed the mounts and still not grouping so took it to the shop were i got it from and he tryed it and said that is was the silencer that it had a bang and was slightly out, i have had the gun 2 weeks brand new out the box and i have looked after it like my baby so i no it never got nocked, he put me a new silencer on and sighted it up bang on so will get out tomorrow reece Quote Link to post
