East coast 2
Got a rizzini multi choke 28" barrels which use for game shooting, got it for £300. Would be worth a look around, have a look at gun trader or shooting times, Avlon guns have a few guns, try there website. Quote Link to post

jackinbox99 41
How long is a bit of string really. Ive got a lanber 12bore o/u multichoke and I love it. You can pick them up in your price range atm. As a side note though, i personally wouldnt worry about a multichoke. Its a "nice to have" but in my guns ive never changed the chokes since i put them in. For pigeon / clays / rabbits, im currently using a cheapie fixed choke side by side gun. Does the job perfectly well and im less worried about it getting knocked or dirty than my more expensive guns. As a first gun, id do my research on the net and workout which ones are "likely canditates", then nip down a local gunshop and try them for fit. For me, its more important that the gun "feels right". Also, dont buy the first one you see and ignore any advice from the gunshop owner that "you need this one mate". He may or may not be correct but that doesnt mean you have to buy it. Walk away, having made a note which guns you like the feel / fit of and try and go to several gunshops before making your choice. Does it have to be a o/u ? Have you looked at semi`s etc... they are also ideal for the uses you mention. Some prefer them when shooting pigeons as they are easier to load in the hide. I personally prefer my semi to my o/u for clays also. Quote Link to post
