I spotted this grebe fishing this morning .. the fish was huge ..

i will give that bird 100% for trying .. i just wish it had been a little closer as it threw the fish about like a rag doll & the pics would have been brill

Thats some sized fish.. As you say, its a pity you hadnt been closer to get the quality, as the composition could have made it a competition winner..

i used a canon 55/250 then i cropped it a lot this bird was a lot closer than they normally are ... it had to drop the fish in the end but i only got a couple of pics that were slightly blured
