Guest Fishaben
HI all, Ive been camping over the weekend and set some hoop snares on runs that I have seen rabbits running on and using, the rabbits were running from one bush to another and I set them at both entrances to both bushes. I had no takes at all apart from 1 where the rabbit had been caught on the back leg and got out , but I realise that that snare was set lower down than the others, all the others were set at the height shown in woodga's snaring dvd. I even burried the snares in soil for a few hours before I set them. Any tips on what on earth I can do to catch at least 1 rabbit. Ben Quote Link to post
Guest thelamperman
set your wires further out on the small beats not in the entrance to the bushes mate Quote Link to post
Stevie E 66
Set them a bit further away from the bushes as there a bit cautious ,looking for danger coming from the cover and will be travelling obviously slower, fishaben. Also practice and the heights and size of loops will come to you in time. Quote Link to post
