marko 30
just a bit of info mate Introduced 1972. 42 inch long with a 17 1/4 inch barrel. Weight 6 3/4 lbs. Muzzle vel. .177 - 625fps and .22 - 500 fps (no pellet weights stated). Price in 1972 Model 79 £17.25 and Model 78 £15.00.probably ok for plinking but nothing more serious than that mate to be honest and parts would be a problem i would think. :thumbs:try this for spares http://www.gunspares.co.uk/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=24470&cat=G79 Edited May 19, 2010 by marko Quote Link to post

Phantom 631
I think Marco might be correct there, if anyone has spares it would be Chambers. I've just looked and they list a huge variety of Diana/Original Guns here http://www.gunspares.co.uk/shopdisplaycategories.asp?id=24035&cat=Diana%2FOriginal However those are not listed. If you give them a quick ring though, they will let you know if the spares are interchangable with what your thinking of. They have been excetionally helpful when I have rang them in the past What is it your planning on doing, just plinking or hunting and or target work? Phantom Quote Link to post

marko 30
for that sort of money you could pick up a nice weirauch a 90 or 99 with scope etc will only be about 200 second hand maybe an s200 cracking little gun i had one couldnt fault it but you would also need a bottle for topping it up maybe save a few more pounds and get a really nice gun the choice is yours springer or pcp. I also happen to be a fan of the SMK XS19 (loads of people bitch about the Chinese rifle's) But my results with it speak for themselves With it being a springer, there is the recoil to contend with and accuracy is a little harder to achieve until your used to firing springers/ The S200, you would also need to purchase a filling system either a pump or dive bottle. Extra cost but second hand they are reasonably priced. The big advantage to a pcp such as the S200 is they are recoilless so accuracy is easier to achieve for a new shooter.
