Not much room in our house for reloading, what with grandchidren sleeping over ect so got this idea of a mate for a portable set up that can be used and easily stowed away, very stable and solid in use.

Hello, with cost for reload now, is still good to do? I buy good 100 bullet for 308 for £50. When i reload. head £30. powder £65. cap £3. cases £30 for 100.

 

1kg powder do 160 round

This make reload £102 for 100 bullet !!

Hey Clint what powder do you use, I'm guessing by the price that you stated for your powder that you use Vihtavuori. I ordered some from my RFD last week and realised last night that it would cost me about £65! Don't think I'll be buying more at that price when most other powders are around the £40 mark.

yes but wait till you see the accuray of the home loads compared to cheap factory ammo

Yes is 1kg vithovori i use, most. I find most accurate powder after IMR, IMR is £76 almost 1kg, when reload 44gr+ no go far. Use cheep Privvy, i get good 30-50mm target in 308 rifle, in other calibre is rubbish , is like machine gun target
