Strong Stuff 2,171
has anyone ever entered there stafford in a terrier show ? not a big fan of show ponys but like a look around the shows for a and a catch up, just wandered what would be said ? I got my now ex bird to put her / our Stafford into one a couple of years ago .............. he wasn't placed, but she looked a knob which was the aim of the game! Have seen some that would easily be eligible for best entered terrier, but I doubt many judges would put them up, just because it would be a bit unusual.

ghostlyease 17
Yes we do it all the time, its never been a problem and although the dogs rarely win it helps support those that go out of their way to put on the shows, when we get enough Staffords together both Lurcher world and Coursing crew give the Athletic Staffords their own classes in showing and racing. Edited to add a slide show (Click the pic below) of our Staffords at the Midland Game fair back in 2008, hope to get down again this year with a bigger group of dogs...... Excuse the posing shots, racing is quite near the end, we had a really good weekend there though and the pics really make me smile!
