Well after heading out to get set up for a days fencing, i spoted this little fella, and rushed in for the camera...

 

the technique i use is meant to be shot of a tripod for macro, but i shot there 2 images hand held..

 

i think they turned out not so bad...

yeah shot free hand i guess their not toooo bad....

 

i've just learned another technique to better the images with this lens, So we'll see what happens...

 

my next purchase will be a 50mm F1.8 prime... As i can seriously see me getting good shots with it...

 

Time is my only issue as i have Too many hobbies.....icon_redface.gif

I have taken some butterflys with that lens today & as it was so bright out the qualitys not half bad .. a great deal easier to focus out doors as well with it :laugh::laugh:

 

I love bees & other insects they make great subjects up close.. lovely shot :thumbs:

He was a rather sleepy little fella kay.... and once i decided to get a little closer he let me know and scared the crap outta me while i was trying to focus on him....lol flew straight into the lens....

 

i love the macro work and i'm gonna try a 50mm f1.8 when i get it... and do my magic at creating a macro lens..

 

moneys flowing out the door at the minute so funds are rather limited unless i get rid of a boat or 2... hehe
