My mate had a fox peer into his living room window the other night , it then proceeded to harrass his neighbours pheasants which he keeps out the back of his house. So he contacted the adjacent landowner and asked if he could lay in wait with the rifle. Permission granted we lay in ambush spying a gorse bank below us.

 

At around 9pm not 1 fox but 3 emerged from the gorse but never presented a shot.Then a little while later I noticed a fox on its travels heading up the grass field in front of us, I gave it a shout and quickly dispatched it with a shot to the head.

 

1 accounted for but there is a few more to mop up ....
