Phantom 631
Is that one of those multi pump pnuematics? If so, you may find your arms start to ache a fair bit. About 20 years ago, I had Crosman Powermaster that required 10 pumps and it was very accurate and although I only ever used it for plinking, I think it would be able to hold its own in the hunting stakes. Apart from the aching arms. Phantom Quote Link to post
andyfr1968 772
Hi, mate. I had one a long time back and at the time, I really rated it. Mine was a .177 and took 4 pumps if the weather was hot to 6 to charge it if it was cold before the release valve let off. Very accurate, no recoil, fairly well built and an all round good little gun to shoot. The bolt action loading can take a bit to get used to as there's not much room and the seals need to be kept moist with a sylicon based lube or they'll leak. The main arse ache with them is they do take a long time to re-load and if you want to fit a mod, you'll have problems finding an adapter for one now as they've been out of production for a long time now (I think!!). I had a Sharp Ace too and that was a really nice gun, for what it was. Good luck with it. Cheers. Quote Link to post
