wexford Pa 84
I find the best way to do it is trial n error.. If u find that ur 3 scoops is too much n ur dogs a bit over his working weight, cut it back to 2 scoops.. If he's working well and maintainin that weight well then ur feeding the right amount, if he's losing or gainin weight well adjust his food accordingly.. If u want to take some weight off ur dog without him feeling hungry, what i do is add more veg as ur takin away some of his kibble or meat.. This is what i do anyway, u might get other suggestions that may suit u n ur dog more.. ..... Pa

Pa spot on bud, trial and eroor, i just go by the way my dog is looking, if he is looking cloddy i cut the food right down, also this time of year my dogs get half the amount as in the winter months

collie/grey 238
There is no set amount of food for any dog, depends on height, size, weight and level of activity, this time of year my dogs get 1/3 of the amount that they get when working in the winter, if your dog isn't losing weight then you need to feed less or exersize more, you should always be able to clearly feel the ribs and see about 2 of them when fit, i just keep a check on mine and adjust accordingly.
