Hoolit 2
Hi Dan what Eddie 1 said is correct NO ore Leave is Paramount ,get him out ON THE LEAD amongst sheep and other stock walk him amongst sheep if he makes any attempt to jump towards them or make a move at them sharp hard yank on rope choker and loud leave in your big manliest voice then just walk on after a few days of twenty minutes or so take him on longer line make him sit recall dont let any interset in sheep go unpunished eventually a short retrieve towards the sheep still on line a few of these and he will soon get the message dont be afraid to go back to the begining if it doesnt work straight away. Cattle are a different thing all together DONT get amongst them they will probably all run towards the dog and circle round him terrifying the poor dog just stick to the lead work and sharp no followed by the yank on the lead ,walking on the opposite side of the fence from cattle with the dog on the lead is by far the safest option . Good luck Hoolit Quote Link to post
