Alexisrouzee 6 Posted March 21, 2010 Report Share Posted March 21, 2010 wondering if enyone new a good, accurate pellet for shooting small quarry to be used on a powerful, 22, spring rifle. jack. im sure you will hear from the guys on here that most barrels have certain makes of pellets that work,, like my bsa lightening tac only gets good groups with accupells (crossman premiers)... if poss i managed to get a lot of 15 bags (50 pells in each bag) test pellets of major brands so you can test them with your barrel hope it helps ATB Quote Link to post
Phantom 631 Posted March 21, 2010 Report Share Posted March 21, 2010 Generally: AAF's are perhaps the best All rounder for most guns (very few guns dislike them) My spring and my pcp loves em for knocking over targets, putting holes in animals and paper Also the FX pellets work well in both my main guns. As was said different barrels like different pellets so trial and error is the best thing but also knowing the rifle brand can also help as to give you a narrowed down choice of pellets to look at.
