SNAP SHOT 194
Looking to go for a few long range shots i landed at the permission i have to see the farmer now a close friend of mine in a bit of a fix, 16 ewes plus one of the st bernards, were giving birth.. 3 ewe's had bother all with large singles so we worked as fast as we could, and managed to save 2 lambs, but the third ewe was under real stress, and lost a massive lamb, it was all we could do to try and free it from her... but the vet couldn't make it for a c section... covered in cleanings and blood by this stage we managed to sort the rest out in a few hours.... and the st. bernard was puping since early morning, and had 1 bitch, 4 dogs, and a still born bitch... can't wait to see the little buggers bouncing around the place, think the new camera will have to get a few shots of them ... he said did i see lambing live, and i just replied i had now...lol one good evening was had.. Snap.
