Phantom 631
Nice going Jasper Never thought about shooting em under the chin Shot a bunny right in between the eyes recently Another one I was aiming between his eyes when he opened his mush! Pellet went in the back of his throat and severed his spinal column. Thinking about it, a face on bunny with its head up would be an ideal candidate for a shot like yours if they refuse to turn their heads to the side. Must give it a go sometime, they often come out of the warren and stare over to where I am laid up. Phantom Ummm.... Not by the hare on my chinny chin chin (TAXI) Quote Link to post

Not by the hare on my chinny chin chin (TAXI) Nice one Phantom . trust me mate I didn't specificly try to hit him under the chin, he climbed a fair way up a large Beech and just layed stareing at me over the top of a branch, the scope was set at x3 as usual so I aimed to hit him somewhere in the swede and own he came, it was only after he was down and out I could see where the pellet entered and where it exited.... I'm sure if a Bunny gave you that angle it would do the same, this Pellets went up through the side of his chin and exited the back of his head, he was Brown bread big time ..... atb Jasp Quote Link to post

I was out the other day and drew a blank! one squirrel just kept running from tree to tree with me keeping up underneath, he finally paused for a couple of seconds on the branch before he jumped over to one of the Ivy trees waveing his tail, I got the gun mounted and just got on him and the little twat jumped over and was never seen again, I sat quiet for a good 20 mins waiting for him to apear again but nope he was sitting in there pissing himself laughing , they're getting wise to me in this particular wood and just bolt for the ivy now as soon as I'm spotted...
