hedz31 1,308 Posted February 16, 2010 Report Share Posted February 16, 2010 Never seen one in the flesh never mind saw one work read a few articles over the years in the countrymans weekly they just seem like a money spinner for folk trying to breed a purpose bred all round dog but come across as a poor substitute to other breeds that could do a chosen task better but i am open minded and if any one would like to show me one work i may change my mind Quote Link to post

lakeman 12 Posted February 17, 2010 Report Share Posted February 17, 2010 A friend of mine, who sadly died o few years back, and was the terrierman for a north east hunt for 30+ years, ran the sporting lucas terrier assosiation. He worked a few and told me they were fine for the job he required them to do . But were not 'hard' dogs compared to a lakie or patt... Quote Link to post
