made rabbitt fajitas tonight instead of chicken and man they were lovely.

boned al the rabbitt cut it into strips.

bought a pack of old del paso fajitas.

mixed rabbitt in a bowl with 2tbs oil and the dressing powder u get with the fajitas.

heated up the fryin pan dry till it was hot threw it in let it cook for 5 then added onions and peppers.

cooked anothr couple minit put on fajita and added salsa sauce and mayonaise :)

they wee delicouse should give them a try!

I've never tried rabbit for fajitas. That sounds fantastic, but you should really use sour cream instead of mayo. :sick:

 

A lot of people don't know this, but proper fajita meat is skirt steak, the diaphragm of the cattle. There is not enough diaphragm on two deer to make even a single serving of fajita. Most folks round here use beef flank steaks, chicken breasts and even shrimp.

 

I also serve with avacado slices and fresh pico de gallo (lots of recipes on the internet).

 

I'm lucky enough to live near several "carnicerias", Mexican meat markets where I can get the freshest ingredients.

 

Anyone ever in the DFW area, PM me and I'll have you over for fajitas!
