BIG BILL 95
hi folk, ive a slight leak on my diesel tank on the drainage plug, ive been to a well known garage to buy a washer for the plug but they didnt know the size or couldnt be arsed to find out, they told me to take the bolt in and they'll find out from there but that would be a little hard for me to get back there with the drainage plug, i told them the size of the plug but they said that didnt matter ? im very green when it comes to motors so if anyone can help would be great, thanks,
bert69 5
A good motor factors will either know the size or may sell you a little selection of different sizes. Then you can pick which one that fits. Like an 'o'ring kit i carry a selection of copper washers and dowty seals in my work van. You should only pay pennies for a washer. The bonus of buying a selection is that youve always got them in the garage then.
