sounder 9
I'm not trying to be a smartarse here, but is your FAC conditioned for goats? DEFRA recommend minimum .243, 100gr. for culling feral goats. Ric not in ireland mate we don't have what ye have ,they be classed as vermin here, a 223 is well big enough for goats, atb sounder Quote Link to post
jigsaw 11,902
as sounder said no problem here with culling ferral goats Ric,One herd alone consist of 60- goats, the other herds are a few miles apart and are of a smaller size ,20-30 and the other a little bigger.By this time next year they'll have trebled. The 223 is more than suffiecient to do the job.Mind you the big billys need to be head shots as they are fairly big.I was speaking to a cop in that rural area and even hes complaining about them.If theres any hassle anyway he can contact me as I gave him my mobile number. RicW 67
OK straight stew. The meats a bit fatty, so chop it into 1/2" cubes, slow cook it or use a pressure cooker. Than you just basically throw peas, beans, sliced carrots, and onions at it. Back in the pot to keep on cooking slowly, while you sort out the roast tatties and parsnips. Come to think on it, you might prefer mashed spuds, but whatever turns you on. We are a bit off thread here but I'm drooling down me chin! Quote Link to post
